Tony Graham Automotive Group Secures Naming Rights for Kanata Recreation Complex

The Kanata Recreation Complex is set to be rebranded under a new 10-year partnership with Tony Graham Automotive Group. Following the approval of the sponsorship plan by the Community Services Committee, the complex will soon be known as the Tony Graham Automotive Group Recreation Complex – Kanata.

As part of the agreement, Tony Graham Automotive Group will contribute $1 million over the next decade, along with applicable interest, for the naming rights to the facility located at Charlie Rogers Place.

The sponsorship funds will not only support the facility but also benefit the wider Ottawa community. Up to $35,000 annually will be allocated to youth fitness initiatives, including the introduction of a free weight and cardio summer membership for youth aged 13 to 17 at city facilities. Additionally, a portion of the sponsorship funding will be directed towards enhancing community events, programming, and amenities at the Kanata Recreation Complex.

The naming rights agreement is in alignment with the City of Ottawa’s Corporate Sponsorship and Advertising Policy, established in 2005, which provides a framework for securing naming rights to city properties and facilities to support municipal services and programs. The Kanata Recreation Complex is one of the city’s facilities designated for naming rights opportunities.
