The City of Edmonton has entered into a 10-year naming rights agreement with Booster Juice, renaming the Terwillegar Community Recreation Centre as the Booster Juice Recreation Centre in Terwillegar. The deal, approved by City Council, will run until 2034 and generate additional revenue to support municipal recreation operations.

The agreement marks the first time Edmonton has sold the naming rights to a city-operated recreation facility. Booster Juice, founded in Edmonton 25 years ago and now operating nationwide, will cover the cost of new facility signage, which is expected to be installed over the summer.

“This is a very exciting partnership for the City of Edmonton and has been several years in the making,” said Roger Jevne, Branch Manager of Community Recreation and Culture. Councillor Tim Cartmell called it “a milestone sponsorship agreement” and praised Booster Juice for sharing the City’s community-focused values.

Under the terms, the City will continue to operate the facility, and both parties may agree to extend the naming rights for an additional 7 to 10 years after the current term. The sponsorship fee remains confidential to protect the City’s position in future negotiations.
